hey, thanks for stopping by!

i’m rayoti, a product designer who loves shaping ideas into meaningful experiences through storytelling, blending aesthetics with function in everything i create. i work across 0 → 1, b2b and consumer products, designing for web platforms, mobile apps, and design systems. lately, i’ve been exploring how ai can accelerate the way i think, design, and build, helping me move faster and own more of the execution. at the core, i care about creating products that feel simple, intentional, and genuinely useful.

where it all began…

growing up, i wanted to be a software engineer even before i knew what coding actually meant, mostly because my favourite actor was one. acting didn’t happen (yet), but engineering did. i went on to study computer science and even landed an sde job through campus placements.

but somewhere between data structures and development, i found myself pulled toward a different kind of excitement — one that lives in colors, typography, layouts, and how people experience them. i’ve always loved art, crafts, and expression, and i started wondering if i could turn that into a career.

without a formal design degree, the leap felt intimidating. but over time, i realised design is less about the degree and more about the skills you bring. ux, at its core, is about creating experiences that are universal, accessible, inclusive, and equitable.

so i passed on my engineering job offer, took a chance on a product design internship through a college connection, and started building from scratch.

it wasn’t an easy decision, but choosing design felt like choosing myself — and that made all the difference.

my design philosophy

i see design as a powerful strategic tool to solve complex business challenges and create lasting value. i believe designers carry a responsibility not just towards their work, but also towards society and the people they design for. i consider it a privilege to design aka create for a living, and my goal is to reflect that belief through the quality of my work.

clarity through chaos

ambiguity is a part of the process, not a barrier. sitting with the unknown, working through the overwhelm, and finding clarity is what makes the process rewarding.

craft is everywhere

whether it’s fashion, photography, or branding, i’m drawn to work that carries intention and taste. i constantly look beyond screens for inspiration, bringing those influences into creating distinct and thoughtful visual identities.

depth over surface

i don’t stop at the obvious. i dig into the root of problems, especially in complex systems, to deeply understand people and design solutions that genuinely improve their everyday experiences.

design without borders

i don’t limit myself to a role. from writing PRDs to troubleshooting with developers and stakeholders, i step in where needed — ownership means doing what it takes.

less is more

great design isn’t about adding more, it’s about removing what doesn’t matter. i balance quality with constraints, simplify where needed, and focus on what truly helps the user move forward.

outside work…

i design for a living, but i create for joy. whether it’s recording little snippets of my day, styling an outfit that looks cute, trying a new recipe, or making a cozy corner in my room feel aesthetic, that’s the kind of stuff that lights me up.

food is a big part of my life. i love experimenting in the kitchen, plating it like it’s a mini project, and yes, clicking more photos than necessary… just don’t ask me to share the last bite 😝. fashion’s another favourite space to play in. i really enjoy putting looks together, even if it’s just to run a coffee errand.

crafty things, stationery, and home decor have always had my heart. give me a sticker sheet or a fresh pen set, and i’m basically seven years old again. books are where i go to slow down, they help me breathe when life’s too loud.

travel is something that keeps me creatively curious. exploring new places and soaking in different cultures always leaves me brimming with ideas more than any pinterest board ever could.

if i had to sum myself up: i’m a designer, a content creator, and a forever curious person who just really loves creating & sharing the journey through it all.
